At the Party-run Presidential Primary (PPP) and Biennial Elections we come together as Democrats to cast our ballot for who we support to be our Party's Presidential Candidate nominee as well as elect:

Delegates to the DPH State Convention;

Delegates to the County Convention (as determined by the County Bylaws); and
-
District Councils which includes District Chairperson, District Vice-chairperson, District Secretary, District Treasurer, and eleven (11) at-large Directors, with at least every precinct having the opportunity for representation on the District Council.

2024 Delegate Allocation
Hawai‘i (HD 1-8), Maui (HD 9-14), Kaua‘i (HD 15-18), and O‘ahu (HD 19-51)
'Delegate Allocation' is the number of Delegates and Alternates a precinct receives for the DPH State Convention. The allocation is based on the strength of the Democratic vote from that precinct in the proceeding election for the Democratic candidates for either President/Vice President or Governor/Lt. Governor. With every precinct guaranteed at least two (2) Delegates and two (2) Alternates.
