Kauai Health Care Kickoff Event
This past Saturday, June 6, a group held a Health Care Kickoff event similar to the one held here at Democratic Party of Hawaii headquarters.
According to Democratic Party Chair, Brian Schatz, "The health care reform kickoff on Kauai was very high level and informative. The discussion was spirited and interesting because people have the right combination of knowledge and passion. We have a long way to go with this issue, but we have made a great start."
Those in attendance developed a list of general health needs, as well as a list of needs unique to the State of Hawaii.
